Project Scope: Arbury Park Outdoor School New Verandahs

This project involved the total demolition of verandahs and bunk bed structures to the existing dormitory buildings 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 including decking, flooring and structural support. Mykra were engaged to construction new steel and concrete slab verandahs including canopies and associated support structure works as well as upgrade the stormwater and sewer system through the installation of new retaining walls where required. Upon discovering a latent condition involving the lack of appropriate existing wall structure to support the new verandah, Mykra worked collaboratively with the project engineer to realise a cost and time effective design solution resulting in minimal impact on programme.
