Project Scope: Chisholm Orthodontics Lift Shaft and Rear Foyer

The purpose of this project was to provide an accessible entry point to the orthodontics practice. Mykra was engaged to construct and install the lift shaft and fitout the existing rear foyer area from the carpark to the practice on Melbourne Street. Mykra conducted demolition works to identify the lift shaft, stabilised the shaft with some underpinning works in conjunction with engineer approval, installed the lift with fire rating capabilities and fitted out the internal foyer with new linings, painting and an automatic door.

Mykra also installed a stainless steel strip drain at the front of the rear foyer entrance and made the bitumen fit to suit the existing carpark while also constructing some external concrete stairs to access the front of the building on Melbourne Street.
