Dominican School Re-Roof

$750,000

Project Scope: Dominican School Re-Roof

Initially, this project involved the removal and replacement of the existing asbestos roof with a new Colourbond roof while upgrading internal timber framework and maintaining the heritage parapet facades. During the course of this project, Adelaide experienced one of the worst storms which further damaged the building resulting in significant internal damage that needed urgent repairs. Additional rooms added to the scope of the project were 13 classrooms, 7 administration offices, a theatre, library and main reception area.

Mykra worked tirelessly alongside many contractors throughout the school holidays so that the school could be operating in time for term one to commence in the New Year. All works were completed within 34 calendar days even though Adelaide continued to experience inclement weather.
