Project Scope: Gleneagles Design and Construct Clubrooms

Mykra were appointed by council for the full design and construction of the new Gleneagles Clubrooms for the Woodville Wasps Rugby Union Club. The scope of works included the demolition of existing facilities and construction of a new 540m2 club and changroom with large, cantilevered feature verandah.

The Council provided concept sketches and preliminary stormwater engineering, Mykra procured the design team and managed the documentation through the approvals. During the documentation phase it was confirmed the clubroom would require a gas mains upgrade, the new building was separated from the street by an existing carpark so to avoid damage and required reinstatement to the carpark, horizontal directional drilling was undertaken.
