Project Scope: Northfield Primary School Ceiling Replacement

This project involved ceiling replacement works at a primary school. Mykra was engaged to remove the existing ceiling panels and air conditioning services from designated rooms within the school grounds and reinstall a new ceiling system, patching and painting plasterboard walls where services were removed. Given the nature of the location of the site, Mykra was engaged to conduct the majority of works during school holidays, within a tight timeframe. During the course of this project, Mykra provided a value-add to the client and suggested upgrading all light fixtures to new LEDs which was accepted by the client.

Mykra was privileged to take a group of students on a tour of the site while undergoing construction works and we hope to have inspired at least one student to dream of a career in the construction industry!
