Project Scope: Open Access College Admin and Building 7 Refurbishments
Administration Building Refurbishment
This project involved taking an existing storage area and IT room and transforming the space in to one larger admin area for teaching staff. Windows and door entry points needed to change to allow for easy access along with the larger windows letting more natural light into the area for staff. As the new room was to be occupied by several staff, an acoustic carpet was installed along with several acoustic pin boards to keep the noise reverberation to a minimum. The re-working of office space allowed the site to make room for extra staff without installing or constructing a new facility.
Building 7 Refurbishment
This project involved the internal demolition and refurbishment/remodelling of the existing transportable building to suit a new building purpose. Included full internal fit out of carpet, ceilings, wall finishes including texture curved walls and specialist acoustic treatments as well as a full services upgrade.
