Project Scope: Surrey Downs Community Centre – Refurbishment
The Surrey Downs Community Centre renewal focused on the replacement of the log pine retaining wall with a dry stack proprietary block wall, the creation of new concrete steps on the western side of the building, a new auto-sliding main entry door and new concrete steps on the eastern side of the building.
The DDA improvements included the creation of a new paved footpath at the front of the centre, new disabled concrete ramps and new disabled carparks.
