The Brocas New Damp Course

$30,000

Project Scope: The Brocas New Damp Course

This project involved chemically treating the existing stone for rising damp on a heritage listed property for the City of Charles Sturt council. Poultice was applied to the stone to draw out the efflorescence over a three month period under direct supervision of the heritage architect, to preserve the original structure. Mykra repeated the process for an additional month. Matching stone was supplied where required, the pointing colour was selected and walls repeated and limed.
