Project Scope: The Heights School STEM Works

This project involved the refurbishment of three existing school buildings as part of the rollout of STEM funding across South Australia. Mykra refurbished the existing facilities to incorporate modern laboratories, general learning areas, computing suites and tech study areas while the school remained operational while providing a substantial upgrade to electrical, mechanical and hydraulic services. As part of the upgrade, Mykra were challenged with installing a detailed feature wall consisting of custom joinery and installed acoustic features that resembled clouds hanging from the ceiling. Mykra also constructed three new steel canopies to promote outdoor learning areas with soft fall flooring.
