Project Scope: Woodville Town Hall Green Room

Mykra was engaged by the City of Charles Sturt to extend the existing town hall facility and construct a new green room on the side of the facility to provide a preparation area for performers. The green room was constructed using a concrete pad footing, timber and steel structure, CFC cladding and a metal deck roofing. Working in conjunction with the client’s architect, Mykra reviewed the project design and devised a construction methodology with material specification in order to construct the project within the client’s budgetary constraints. While on site, Mykra upgraded the existing security and lighting systems as well as majorly upgrading the fire system to comply with OTR regulations. Upon completion, the green room included a makeup station, changeroom and toilet facilities.
