Project Scope: Japara Homestead Aged Care

This project consisted of a large-scale window and plumbing upgrade to an aged care facility. Mykra were engaged to remove 51 existing windows and replace them with larger windows, involving carpentry works to expand the openings, new painting, ceilings and linings, mouldings and rendering to provide the client with a polished finish. While we were there, we were also engaged to upgrade plumbing and joinery units involving the removal and replacement of 58 vanities within the residents’ ensuites, all carried out with minimum disruption to residents and the client to ensure they could remain completely operational throughout.
