Project Scope: Eldercare Elanora Natt Wing Stansbury

The objective of this project was to renovate the existing Natt Wing consisting of a twelve-roomed administration wing into six, two-room residences with ensuites. Within this project, Mykra upgraded the wing’s electrical and plumbing systems, installed new tiling, fire sprinklers and nurse call buttons. New paint and floor coverings were added to provide the wing with a modern and fresh look as well as additional rendering works, the installation of a new tiled roof and removal of asbestos. Working within an operating facility is always challenging and Mykra had to be cautious of dust causing a potential major issue due to the chasing of red brick walls and concrete while keeping all employees and residents safe.
