Project Scope: Eldercare New Gym South Park Minlaton

Mykra were engaged by the client to construct a new resident gym, as an extension to the existing residential aged care facility. The new extension is comprised of steel sheet, timber framed roof and light weight walls, constructed on a reinforced concrete raft footing. The new gymnasium facility also includes disabled toilet facilities, storeroom and is fully airconditioned. Mykra endeavored to support the local council area, with the use of local trades for the plumbing, concrete, and civil works. The new gym has improved the quality of life and care for the facilities residents. It has also provided the facility with a point of difference to other similar facilities in the region. The works were completed on time and in budget, for a satisfied client.
