Project Scope: Eldercare Sash Ferguson Mt Barker

This project involved an overall upgrade to the existing facility and amenities including resident rooms, communal dining, lounge rooms, the reception area and hairdresser. The biggest challenge was carrying out construction works within a working residential facility. Residents were decanted from their rooms during the day for works to take place and were returned each evening. Trades could not start work before 9am and were instructed to have tools down by 4pm while keeping noise to a minimum in an effort not to disrupt employees and residents.
