Project Scope: Sands on Sellicks Development

The Sands on Sellicks development was a 1,250m2 three-storey mixed use building comprising retail on the ground floor and five two storey apartments above with front and rear carparks. Sands on Sellicks is located on the beachfront esplanade and designed to consider the harshest coastal conditions as well as bushfire requirements. The building was built with precast and suspended slab to the lower retail, with the upper apartments framed with timber and clad with a variety of brickwork, Hebel, Matrix and aluminium battens. To achieve fire ratings there was a mixture of vermiculite, Fyrechek, Hebel parti-walls and Promatec board throughout.
